Do you perform urgent tests?
Yes. The laboratory has a medical urgency unit for urgent laboratory tests, covering situations such as dialysis, chemotherapy, home care, transplant patients and clinical research. Urgent tests are performed at no additional cost, subject to the applicable turnaround times and test list.
Which health plans do you accept?
The full list is on the Health Plans page, searchable by name. For every plan, eligibility and the agreed products must be confirmed beforehand.
Do you perform toxicology screening?
Yes — toxicology screening for public examinations and for DETRAN driver licensing, covering cocaine, cannabis, amphetamines, methamphetamines and opiates. Availability and prices must be confirmed directly with the laboratory.
I have no health plan. Can I still get tested?
Yes. Militello keeps a special price list — the Affordable Lab — for people without a health plan and for tests not covered by insurance.
Do you serve companies and occupational health programmes?
Yes. The laboratory serves companies with pre-employment tests, PCMSO programmes and a broad Occupational Health test menu, as well as cruise ship staff and home care clinics.
